Holland, Michigan (June 5, 2012) – Uniform Color will introduce CT (TM) Earthly Treasures Color Series at HBA Global in June 2012. The CT Earthly Treasures Color Series is a newly developed product line for thermoplastics applications and is based on the look of semi-precious stones and natural materials. The first phase of the product line is designed for Clarified PP but the looks could be easily created in other polymer types such as HDPE, Acrylic, Styrenics, and PET.

These opaque and translucent colors are designed to look like materials found in nature, making them desirable for many of todays eco-conscious brands. Besides being beautiful alone or in combination, they are also FDA complaint for most indirect food contact applications.

Color plaques of the featured effects will be on display in the Product Innovation Display area at HBA. Colors to be featured at HBA include: Amethyst, Coral, Lapis, Hematite, Red Jasper; Milky Quartz, Freshwater Pearl, Rose Quartz, Green Turquoise, Aqua Turquoise, Goldstone, Black Mother of Pearl, and Smokey Topaz.

Many of todays cosmetic and personal care brands want a packaging look that is soft and natural. The CT (TM) Earthly Treasures line offers new, natural looks that may not have been considered before.
